Indiana On My Mind (and Kentucky too)

From RedState:

So Marlin Stutzman did not make it across the finish line and Dan Coats did. Well, we at RedState have always maintained that we are conservatives in the primary and Republican in the General. So we’re all in for Dan Coats.

But along the way there is something more. Activists need to get their boots on the ground and get into the process to help people like Coats, but more importantly to help themselves.

Anyone can be an activists. But very few are effective activists.

If you live anywhere near Indiana, you owe it to yourself to go to the last of the Post Party Summits in Indianapolis this coming weekend.

Steven Crowder is going to be there. It’s worth going if only to meet Steven.

If you live in Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, or wherever, do yourself and the cause a favor — get to the Post Party Summit.

“One Nation Back To God” Seminar – May 1st

The Kosciusko County Silent NO More announced that they will be hosting a “ONE NATION BACK TO GOD” Seminar on May 1st 2010 at the Rodeheaver Auditorium on the Grace College Campus, in Winona Lake Indiana.

There will be a special VIP reception breakfast at 9 am for Pastors, with doors opening to the public at 10.  Pastors from all over the state of Indiana are encouraged to RSVP for this special breakfast reception to 574-453-8605 or (email deleted).

The event will cover a variety of topics, and officially kick off at 10 am with a special session from Micah Clark from the American Family Association of Indiana discussing what churches can and cannot do regarding elections and political issues. Dave Koontz, VP of Development for Indiana Right to Life and Kosciusko County Right to Life Executive Director, will be speaking on the topic of “Abortion in the Church”. This will be followed by Pastor John Lowe of Warsaw and Reverend CL Bryant, an African American Pastor and activist of Shreveport Louisiana who will be speaking on the urgency to mobilize and be affective in the church. In closing we would like to have participation in a brainstorming session and prayer for our Country.

This event coincides with the National Mayday Event being held in Washington DC; A Cry out to God for a Nation in Distress.

Monica Boyer, Co founder of the Kosciusko County Silent NO more, along with Jim Heierman, are encouraging folks from all over the state to come out and hear how they can get involved in their churches to protect our moral and conservative values. Boyer states, “For so long the Church has remained silent.  They have been told there is no place for “Politics or Government” in the church.  They have been taught to be “Politically Correct”, sit down, and remain silent.   We are saying NOW IS THE TIME for the Church to stand up and proclaim BIBLICAL TRUTH from the pulpit. Now is the time to put aside our fears and reclaim our heritage as a Christian Nation “UNDER GOD”. If not now, when?  If we choose to remain silent now, we may someday lose our freedoms to worship and speak out in the near future”. This event is not just for Pastors, it’s for EVERYONE!! If you have a passion for your country…If you have a passion for the church, this event is for YOU!  We will equip you with the tools you need to get involved!
